Full service estate planning designed to help you and your family accomplish your long term financial goals. Services include creating wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other related documents.
Additional services include transferring California real estate into your trust and assisting in transferring other assets into your trust.
Sometimes a person’s estate must be probated, even if they have a trust. I’m an experienced probate attorney who will serve your needs from preparing the initial petition to probate through a final discharge after all beneficiaries have received their assets and creditors (if any) have been paid.
Whether you are trying to manage and administer an ongoing trust, or distribute assets to beneficiaries and wrap up the business of a trust, I can help you achieve your goals and ensure that all parties (trustees and beneficiaries alike) meet or exceed their legal and ethical responsibilities quickly and efficiently.
Conservatorship / Guardianship
If you need help establishing, modifying, ending or otherwise administering a conservatorship or guardianship, I can help. I have experience working with conservators and guardians in both simple and complex decision-making and court proceedings.
As much as we try to avoid it, sometimes disputes arise between beneficiaries, trustees, fiduciaries, and other parties to a probate case. Those disputes can take the form of will contests, claims alleging breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and other related causes of action. I have more than ten years of litigation experience and will provide full service in all of your litigation needs from initial pleadings (complaint, answer, petition, etc.), discovery (depositions, interrogatories, etc.), mediation, arbitration, settlement, and trial.
Other Area of Expertise
In addition to the above, I also provide my clients skilled representation in the following fields:
Real estate law
Landlord / tenant law including evictions (unlawful detainer)
Family law including divorce, spousal support, child support, and
Enforcement of judgments / creditor’s rights (excluding bankruptcy)
